Take it on the lamb

معادل فارسي: در رفتن

Poor Rich has always had his problems with the police. When he found out that they were after him again, he had to take it on the lamb. In order to avoid being caught and thrown in jail, he was forced to flee in a great hurry.

بيچاره ريچارد هميشه بـا پليس مشکل داشته. وقتي فهميـد که اونا دنبالش هستند، مجبـور شد در بره. براي اينکه گير نفته و تو زندون نيفته مجبور شد به سرعت فرار کنه.

چشم امید داشتن به - دل بستن به - انتظار داشتن

example: students look to the teacher for help

دانش آموزان چشم امیدشان به کمک معلم است

see about: to investigate ; to attend to

مورد بررسی یا توجه قرار دادن- تحقیق کردن - رسیدگی کردن

example: I don't have time to put gas in the car today. I will see about it tomorrow

امروز وقت ندارم (ماشین) بنزین بزنم فردا یک کارش میکنم.

1) برای سلام کردن تو کشور هایی مثل انگلستان و استرالیا معمولا از hello و تو کشورهای امریکا و کانادا از  hi استفاده می کنند.

2) how are you doing رایج ترین عبارت برای احوال پرسی تو امریکاست.

3) اشتباه رایج : باید دقت کنین که عبارت how do you do برای احوال پرسی نیست یعنی شما نباید در جواب بگین fine ,thanks بلکه به معنی "خوشوقتم" ـه . که شما وقتی برای اولین بار با کسی اشنا میشین ازش استفاده می کنین و ضمنا شما هم باید در جواب یا بگین how do you do یا nice to meet you
